This may be old news to some of you, but NBC has decided to take out Parks and Recreation from its prime slot to move in a new sitcom about an outsourced call center in India.
The show is based off of a 2006 film by the same name. The premise of both the film and show is about a white man reluctantly moving to India in order to head a call center there while working with some very quirky and quite strange employees.
I'm not banking on this show to last more than two seasons, though, as the trailer seems just a bit too simple in its form of crude and kindergarten humor. The film was genuinely humorous, but the show seems to be lacking some of that spark. Here's to hoping NBC's Parks and Recreation replacement has the stuff to become something good.
